Maybe it was a competitor who knew he had the equipment, but didn't realize it wouldn't work outside of the house?

Doesn't really explain why stuff got messed up in game, though.

Maybe. There are so many possibilities, it's frustrating not being able to narrow it down.

Though...did you hear a strange voice on the wind? Not one of people you've known or voices you head but, something else?

I mean, there's no way it's actually connected. That'd be premeditated murder AND evidence leading towards it coded right into the game itself.

Can we really discount it though? I was so busy trying to deal with my own voices, that I almost forgot all about it.

maybe. i know there seems to be outside interference beyond the company but i think the company is responsible regardless.

Mithrun thinks there's another player. Or AI. Something like it.

a developer gone rogue behind the scenes. that sort of thing.
